Earlier, ionic columns were only found in the homes of Royalty and the very wealthy but are now one of the favorite design features used by architects and designers in government buildings, homes, office and restaurants These reproductions of old world masterpieces are of the highest quality of millwork and are carved by MASTER CARVERS with attention paid to the finest details.Ionic columns are available in both Full round and Half round to accommodate any usage. Half round Ionic columns are used in Fireplace Mantles or other applications where only one side is visible. The full round carved ionic columns are used as stand alone features in Hallways or entrances to rooms. Columns were to be found in Ancient Greece as part of palaces and official buildings and were generally capped with a Carved Ionic Capital.
